ProAg Expands Relationship with Majesco for IT solutions

New York NY, September 9, 2014Majesco, the provider of core insurance systems and services to over 80 insurance carriers in North America, today announced that Producers Ag Insurance Group (ProAg), a leading crop insurance provider has expanded its relationship with Majesco by choosing the company as its technology partner to provide comprehensive IT support for key business applications.

As part of this technology partnership initiative, Majesco will manage all aspects of these critical business applications, including ensuring: 24 X 7 application availability, timely updates for the regulatory changes, and continuous technology enhancements to provide agents with the most recent tools to conduct business most efficiently in the field.

The expanded ProAg/Majesco relationship comes after a successful three year partnership during which Majesco worked in collaboration with ProAg to maintain and enhance a variety of ProAg systems. Utilizing its proven Insurance Application Management Service (IAMS) model, Majesco will efficiently and cost-effectively manage ProAg’s systems, requiring minimal ongoing ProAg IT involvement. As a result, ProAg will be able to focus its IT staff and the bulk of its technology budget on new, strategic initiatives, designed to improve time to market and enhance services to ProAg’s agents and customers.

Anticipated benefits from the partnership include: reduction in ProAg’s support costs, faster turnaround on business enhancements, and higher availability of systems. Architectural improvements will result in greater operational efficiencies and will significantly reduce errors.
