In other cases a Partnership relationship leverages the strength of another's value added IP in creating a unique "go to market" offering that includes some of the capabilities of each Alliance partner. An example of this kind of relationship would be to combine and leverage a "best of breed" solution pack using, for instance, a CLAIMS capability from one vendor together with a BILLING capability from another and integrated to leverage an existing Policy System. Opportunities are captured by building pre-built connectors to Alliance systems which adds speed to implementation and proof of value to prospects. Other Alliance relationships are generating new revenue sources from Industry Analysts and Trusted Advisors who are frequently "brainstorming" with prospective clients about how to transform or extend their business. Analyst-led engagements can improve and swiftly narrow the field with the inclusion of specific decision criteria, methodology or a set of proven business practices that a prospect feels will improve the opportunity to succeed putting the Alliance collaboration in an incredibly strong position to provide great value without the risk of picking ill-fitting components. Alliance and Partnership arrangements also bring together 3rd Party products and additional professional services engagements surrounding the implementation of a project. Companies spend far more in bringing a project together to a successful conclusion through integrations and additional components on the order of a multiple of at least four times the cost of the software and services expended on the solution.
