New York NY, January 21, 2015 – Majesco, the global provider of insurance software and IT services, today announced that Ed Ossie has joined the company as chief operating officer (COO), after serving on the board the last 3 years. The appointment of Ossie to the COO role is the latest in a series of recent Majesco key executive hires, acquisitions, and mergers underpinning the company’s strategy to invest, strengthen and expand its worldwide insurance technology focused business.
In his new role Ossie will be responsible for business strategy, corporate development, partnerships, marketing and key operational initiatives to help drive Majesco’s global growth.
Ossie brings over 30 years of experience in international markets, the insurance industry, and growth focused technology firms. Most recently, he was vice president and director at Corum Group, a Seattle based global leader in software mergers & acquisitions. Prior to Corum, he founded Middlebrook Advisors LLC, an angel investment and advisory firm for growth oriented technology companies. Before Corum Group, he was CEO of MTW Corporation and led the sale of the business to Innovation Group PLC. At Innovation Group PLC from 2001 to 2010 he served in a number of executive operating and board roles including; president, chief operating officer technology, CEO of Asia-Australia and group marketing director. Earlier in his career Ossie spent a number of years with Texas Instruments in the computer hardware and software technology divisions, and served as vice president and general manager for the Americas in the Software Division.
