MajescoMastek’s 4th Annual Customer Conference in Austin Draws 25% Increase in Client, Prospects and Industry Analyst Attendees
“Enabling the Future of Insurance” was this year’s theme, providing the ideal environment for collaboration, learning, and fun for MajescoMastek conference attendees
New York, NY, December 9, 2011— MajescoMastek, the U.S. subsidiary of global technology solutions provider Mastek Limited (NSE: MASTEK), today announced the success of its 4th annual user conference held last month in Austin, Texas.
The event was co-sponsored by Platinum Sponsor IBM and Gold Sponsor Pitney Bowes. MajescoMastek also welcomed industry experts, including analysts from Novarica, Strategy Meets Action (SMA), and Celent; guest editors from industry publications; and guest speaker Dr. Raj Sisodia, chairman and co-founder of the Conscious Capitalism® Institute (CCI).
The full agenda offered both property & casualty and life & annuity content with a nice balance, from customer case-studies and idea sharing to thought leadership, product updates, new solution launches, and a good amount of fun. The popularity of the MajescoMastek user event is evident in the 25% year-over-year increase in attendance and the outstanding attendee feedback. The conference theme “Enabling the Future of Insurance” was well integrated throughout the two day program, including all 15 sessions.
Highlights of the program included a kick-off and welcome by MajescoMastek executives; keynote session by Chad Hersh of Novarica; a Town Hall discussion with Craig Weber of Celent; analysts panel discussion on social media; client panel discussion with Cypress Insurance and FCCI; case study sessions presented by MajescoMastek clients Erie Insurance, Cypress Insurance, and Amerisure, and business updates by MajescoMastek executives Anil Chitale, P&C Insurance head and Erik Stockwell, Life/Annuity Insurance head.
The event wasn’t all business, with attendees having the opportunity to network at receptions, experience great Austin jazz, enjoy a round of golf, and even partake in a chili cooking competition, photos with long horns, Texas line-dancing and an armadillo race. On the final night, MajescoMastek hosted a Customer Appreciation Dinner to thank the user community for their continued commitment to and support of MajescoMastek.
