AMA Insurance Now in Production with Majesco’s Billing Solution
Majesco’s STG Billing provides AMA Insurance a configurable solution for enterprise billing, payments and disbursements.
New York NY, June 17, 2014 – Majesco, the provider of core insurance systems and services to over 80 insurance carriers in North America, today announced that Alberta Motor Association Insurance Company (AMA Insurance), a direct property and casualty writer, has successfully deployed Majesco’s STG Billing solution.
In production with STG Billing for personal and commercial auto as well as property and accident insurance, AMA Insurance is now able to more effectively and efficiently address the company’s enterprise billing, payments, and disbursements needs.
Key benefits the new billing environment has provided AMA Insurance include: accurate/highly efficient and automated billing and receivable processes with a seamless transition for clients, a modern and flexible operation for payments, disbursement, and collections functions and a significant reduction in manual processes. The transformation project included the migration of thousands of policies to MS SQL, representing more than five years of transactional data previously maintained in an obscure source database.
Commenting on the success of the project, AMA Insurance’s Vice President of Finance, Bob Hillman said, “This is one of the smoothest and well managed implementations that I have seen. I’m pleased with the work from Majesco as well as with the quality of the STG Billing solution.”
Hillman continued, “While the system was highly functional out-of-the-box, the configuration capabilities offered with STG Billing enabled us to modify the system to meet our specific needs. The system was immediately a hit with our users. It’s been a great experience from the beginning, and we look forward to working with Majesco to maximize the benefits of this system.”
“We congratulate AMA Insurance on the successful deployment of STG Billing and are pleased that Majesco was able to play a key role in helping them achieve their timeline and business goals. It’s been a true partnership with the AMA Insurance team. The quality of the relationship and the dedication of the joint team are evident in the project results,” said Anil Chitale, SVP & Chief Product Evangelist with Majesco.
STG Billing is 100% Java based and contains tools to define custom business rules and design payment, collection, disbursement and delinquency plans; creating organization-specific solutions and greater business value. STG Billing’s flexible workflow management streamlines the collection of payments while increasing cash flow, without sacrificing accuracy or consistency. The ability to support multiple channels and levels of billing brings the value of STG Billing to more stakeholders in the business process than ever before.
