Exaxe expands product offering in response to Osborne’s budget pension overhaul

NEWS RELEASE: Dublin, Ireland, 30th September 2014.

Exaxe announced today the release of Admin Plus, its new policy administration software solution.

In response to the radical changes in the pensions industry, announced in Osborne’s 2014 budget, Exaxe has met the need for a policy administration software solution which can support both the accumulation phase and decumulation phase by combining two of its former software solutions Income Plus and Invest Plus.

Philip Naughton, Executive Director Business Development at Exaxe, commented “We are delighted to announce this next generation solution by combining our former solutions Income Plus and Invest Plus to allow our customers to be more flexible with their business models. Following the 2014 budget we have identified some clear opportunities for life and pensions companies who previously focussed on either the accumulation sector or the decumulation sector of the market. Providers now need to offer their customers more and Exaxe has the software solution available to allow them to respond quickly to the changing landscape.”

He continued, “Customers now require the ability to support the new developing market with a single solution. As the market moves to a more dynamic environment, providers need to have the flexibility to support full retirement account planning and execution. By combining our Income Plus and Invest Plus solutions into a single solution our customers can now achieve this.”

Admin Plus is a highly flexible web based policy administration solution for the life, pensions, wealth management and investment sectors supporting wealth accumulation products such as pensions, savings, and investments, as well as wealth decumulation products such as variable drawdown, income drawdown, variable annuities, and flexible income drawdown.

The enhanced unit processing solution has been designed to support multi-channel distribution, B2B & B2C, end-to-end sales and service processing and customer service improvements. Its open and modern Service Oriented Architecture allows for easy integration to external third party and/or proprietary systems.

Naughton continued “This is an exciting time in the market. With the recent budget changes, providers will either excel or be tossed aside. We have the means to give companies the support and technology they need to fulfil their customers’ needs and leap frog their competitors.”
